Primary Election Tuesday, June 23rd

We have a primary election coming in the next couple of weeks to determine who will be the Democratic nominee for State Assembly, State Senate, and our Representative in Congress. 

Early voting begins SATURDAY, JUNE 13th at the County Office Building at 284 Main Street (3rd floor) in Schoharie and at the Cobleskill Community Library, located at 110 Union Street in Cobleskill. Early voting is available every day from Saturday, June 13th until Sunday, June 21st. 

Election Day is Tuesday, June 23rd. If you do not vote early or by absentee, you can vote in person at the usual local voting site in your town.

There are three candidates for State Assembly District 102:

Janet Tweed

Mary Finneran

Thomas Boomhower

There are two candidates for Congressional District 21:

Blake Gendebien

Stuart Amoriell

State Senate District 51:

Michele Frazier

There was another candidate for State Senate, but he has since dropped out of the race.
