SCHOHARIE DEMOCRATS SAY NO TO CONSTITUTION PIPELINE

The Schoharie County Democratic Committee stands with our community in opposing the proposed Constitution Pipeline that threatens both the unspoiled beauty of our county and our personal property rights.

Like the longtime ban on fracking in our state, we had believed this proposal was a settled matter. But in a continuation of their relentless push to force fossil fuels and block the progress of clean, renewable energy, the Trump Administration has decided to resurrect this pipeline project that would run through some of the most scenic and untouched areas of Schoharie County. We dissent.
