Remarks on Party’s Statewide Nominees

The Schoharie County Democratic Party today announces its support of the Democratic slate of candidates nominated Feb. 16-17 at the party’s convention at the Sheraton Times Square in New York City.

SCDC Chair Theresa Heary joins state party Chair Jay S. Jacobs in issuing the following statement:

"Congratulations to Governor Kathy Hochul, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Lieutenant Governor Brian Benjamin, Attorney General Letitia James, and Comptroller Tom DiNapoli for their overwhelming victories at the 2022 nominating convention.

“The party has spoken, and we look forward to winning together this year and delivering real results for all New Yorkers.”

“It was an enthusiastic, issues-oriented convention,” said Heary. “We are united, invigorated, and ready to get to work on behalf of these candidates who will best serve people of Schoharie County and New York.”
