PUTORTI, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR CONGRESS NY-21 COMES TO MIDDLEBURGH
Matt Putorti, candidate for Congress from the 21st District, will be appearing at the Green Wolf in Middleburgh, NY tomorrow, July 29 from 5:30 to 7:00. Schoharie County residents will be choosing their congressional candidate for the first time as part of District 21 in the August 23 primary. Matt Castelli (castelliforcongress.com) is running in opposition to Matt Putorti.
Born and raised in Whitehall, NY, Putorti went from the local public schools to Boston College, Oxford University, and Fordham Law School. Steeped in the stories of his immigrant grandmother’s experiences coming from Italy and starting the store that his parents still own and operate, Matt takes family, small business and local implications of national policies very seriously.
Personable and passionate about representation for the people of the North Country, Matt is getting to know Schoharie County through this meet and greet, gathering with voters who want to know who he is as well.
Tomorrow, at the Green Wolf, voters will have a chance to ask questions, and find out what it would feel like to have someone who cares about the people of District 21 in that congressional seat, in stark contrast to its current occupant, Elise Stefanik, whom he has termed Extremist Elise for her stance relative to the false charges of fraud in the 2020 election and her support for the Supreme Court removing constitutional rights from everyday citizens. Raised Catholic, Matt believes strongly in personal freedoms, and the legal process of ensuring equal rights.
